Setup

Connect Sentry in 4 steps.

  1. 01

    In Replicas, open Organization → Integrations, find Sentry and click Install.

  2. 02

    Pick your Sentry organization and approve the install. Only admins can manage this.

  3. 03

    Create an automation, add a Sentry trigger and choose the events, projects and severity.

  4. 04

    Write the prompt, for example: "Find the cause, fix it with a test and open a PR."

When Sentry or Grafana raises an alert at Vela, a triage agent checks whether it needs attention. If it does, the agent files a GitHub issue, assigns an owner, and can open a small pull request once the root cause is confirmed.
