Replicas now has Review: one place to read, discuss, fix, and merge GitHub pull requests and GitLab merge requests without leaving Replicas.
Why we built it
Most of our day is already spent in Replicas, talking to agents and checking their work. But every time an agent opened a PR, we had to switch to GitHub or GitLab to review it, then come back to Replicas to ask for changes. We wanted to do the whole thing in one place, from the first prompt to the merge.
Guided reviews
Agents have made the number of PRs each engineer reviews go up a lot, and reviewing them the usual way takes a lot of focus. With a guided review, you click Start tour and an agent reads the PR before you do, then walks you through it. It summarizes the change, starts with the most important file, and explains each file in plain English above its diff. Tests, lockfiles, and generated files are collapsed at the end. You still read every change, but you already know what each one is supposed to do, so you get through PRs faster without skipping anything.
What's new
- Inbox: PRs waiting on your review and the ones you opened, from GitHub and GitLab. Paste any PR link to open it.
- Agent chat next to the diff: highlight lines, ask a question or ask for a change, and the agent pushes the fix. PRs opened by a Replicas agent open in that agent's workspace, so it already has the context.
- Approve and merge: follows your repository's merge rules. Update the branch and re-run review bots from the same page.
- Stacked PRs and Graphite's keyboard shortcuts.
Available now on web and desktop. Learn more in Review.
